I'll add my voice to the others posting here and say this is a wonderful restaurant!
I had a mimosa, salmon with quinoa and flan for dessert and it was perfection!
Trendy decor and buzzing happy atmosphere with an attentive waitstaff ensured a wonderful evening with friends.
MODERN PERUVIAN RESTAURANT WITH GREAT FOOD & OUTSTANDING SERVICE!
Stopped by this joint by accident on my way back from the beach. Had no reservations, looking for a table for five and a kind server was very helpful to find us a table rather soon. Our food was delicious, a bit of a wait but it had fresh ingredients and were properly seasoned. They all had decent portions and plenty of flavors. Lomo saltado was right on point, crunchy potatoes, sizzling onions and tender steak. The jalea with cebiche was one of the best ones I ever had in NY! No joke! I wished I didn’t share it with my kids!!! Anticuchos, although a bit small, were BIG on taste! Seared on the outside, juicy on the inside.
Pisco sour was as good as our dishes. Yes, this restaurant is a little bit on the pricey side, but trust me, it’s worthy.
Gotta add the ambiance is great, no loud music, (loved the jazz music!) beautiful decor, clean bathrooms, very inviting to dine with family and children.
This might be one the BEST restaurants in Queens by far.
A big thanks to our waiter, Edgar, for a pleasant evening. You were very polite and attentive during our stay.
We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely phenomenal food and service. We shared the grilled baby octopus, calamari and leche de tigre ceviche and were essentially licking our plates clean by the end. The baby octopus was incredibly tender and the ceviche was sooo fresh and vibrant. Also enjoyed one of their pisco drinks which was just the right balance of flavorful and powerful. All staff was so attentive and kind we felt more like regulars than first timers. Will definitely be eating here any time we're in the area
I've been here 3 times. I feel like their food is a hit or miss. The 1st time they were now opening and food was super salty, I had the garlic shrimp. Second time I went off lunch amd had a sort of stew chicken only offered lunch time on the lunch menu, the 3rd time I had the 1/2 grilled chicken, I didn't even eat much of it, it was under cooked pink inside and too salty. Drinks are ok. Could be a little stronger. The fried rice is good, and the chocoflan was delicious, not too sweet. Decor is nice and the staff was nice.
This was a long-overdue review but much needed :) The authentic food and service was outstanding! They were so kind and ensured all the enormous amounts of food I ordered was prepared on time for my holiday gathering - and my Latina friends …
Nice small Peruvian restaurant with great food in forest hills area. Love the atmosphere in this place. Service is great.
My husband I came here for the first time and we were beyond impressed from appetizers to desserts A+++!! The service was incredible! Not only did we feel welcomed, but we were given amazing one on one attention, we didn’t have to wait and …
Really enjoyed my dinner here the other day. Flavors and textures were on point. They have specials for the weekend that we’re tasty AF. Worth a nice intimate dinner.
